Hong Kong Pics

Hong Kong is one of Misterpiggy's favourite cities, just behind Tokyo.  It's got a lot of energy, hustle and bustle, with a vibrant nightlife.  It's got great transit options including buses, trams, ferries and an excellent subway system.  As well, it's also very easy to walk around.  Food choices are plentiful and appealing even at the lowest budgets.

With only a four night stay, Misterpiggy wished he had stayed for at least a week to catch up with friends and relatives and see more sights.  He did manage to make it to Victoria Peak, although the overcast clouds and haze offered only moderate views of the city.  He strolled though a flower show that was going on nearby his hotel at Victoria Park.  Also visited the Causeway Bay shopping district and sampled fresh seafood in Ap Lei Chau - Aberdeen.

Misterpiggy's one regret was that he did not have enough time to take the star ferry that crosses between Hong Kong and Kowloon.

Hope you are enjoying the pictures.  Misterpiggy left his Lumix G2 at home and instead brought his Canon 60D mounted with a Tamron SP AF17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di II LD Aspherical.  Still trying to figure out the proper exposures and white balance.  Crops and adjustments done via Picasa.  Would gladly welcome any and all photography comments, tips, suggestions for improvement, especially in the area of photo composition.  Thank you in advance!
